God is GOOD!! Another great fabulous wonderful awesome book signing event in Faribault MN yesterday!! Thank you to everyone who braved the freezing weather to attend, buy books, and talk about their justice impacted loved ones. God really worked openly at this event!! One man, who had walked by the store many times in the past and felt a tug to enter but never had, felt COMPELLED to enter yesterday and he did, then walked right out, and God compelled him to come back in, so he did. The thing is, I’d asked the owners of Grace and Glory to stay open an hour later than their usual closing time, and they had agreed. THIS MAN CAME AFTER THEIR USUAL CLOSING TIME, but God had it open for him this special day. Here’s another thing, the woman working the registers hadn’t been scheduled to work, she was filling in for someone sick. This woman had been praying for that man for years, and here he was walking in! He asked for prayers, but said, “I am not a good man. I don’t think you nice ladies would understand my problems.” I pointed at my book cover, with my mug shot on it and said, “sir, that was taken in prison the day I began my 12 year prison sentence.” He grinned and said maybe we could understand. He stayed for 2 hours and an impromptu prayer meeting and Bible study began! praise God!! so many other great guests and stories happened. thank you for your prayers about my book and events!!
